Keeping expenses down is what drives many people to reconsider all the different things that they pay for each month. Many have simply gotten rid off their home telephones and switched to having just the cellular for all of their calling needs. It is something to think about and just depends on what you need. Considering all of the different factors involved in this is necessary. There are reasons why keeping a home phone is a good idea.
When deciding what expenses you can live without, you need to keep in mind that cell phones don't always work where they should. Before you ever make a final decision that could affect your life style and monthly expenses, do your homework. If you decide to drop your home phone services, you will do away with the extra phone bill, unless your cell phone bill increases drastically, in which case you are not saving any money. Another thing to really consider is making the VOIP your home phone service. You will probably be surprised at the service and the savings.
